During the EMPIRE Magazing “Masters of the Universe” Movie set visit, writer Dan Jolin talked briefly about seeing SPIKOR.

Dan remarked that the evil warrior Spikor was “festooned with purple (you guessed it) spikes”.
Not noticing the “purple” on Spikor in the “Masters of the Universe” movie trailer, we decide to remove what appears to be an earthy brown filter from the brief trailer moment featuring Spikor.

Now while these photoshop reduction methods are NOT AN EXACT SCIENCE to finding the precise color of Spikor in natural light, we did find some purple (and we are excited).

So is this how Spikor really looks in natural light, or close to it? We don’t know, but we certainly hope so!
We’ll see you next time.

Damn. Night and day difference.
Come on. Making Spikor brown would be doing the fans dirty. This is definitely Spikor.
TRUST IN TRAVIS!
Have we found out who’s playing Spikor yet? That would be nice to know.
@mighty-thanos looks like IMDB has been updated and James Apps is playing Spikor.
@maiz82 Thanks mate. It looks like AJ didn’t know either.
That would make sense given that they said they were trying to honor the Technicolor splendor of the Filmation series. He’s gotta be purple!
@shiningpb I agree. Make him purple or don’t do him!
