We’ll see you next time!

I’m buying everything. Zooming in, the details on these figures is insane. Mattel did not mess around.
The only gripe I have is Evil-Lyn’s blank expressionless face. They really need to give her an evil grin or something.
Are these really not in Masterverse scale? I really hope Mattel isn’t that unwise…
It’s still too hard to tell… even with the hi-res pics on the EW website.
I will say that Mattel’s toy photography still stinks. The Teela in the actual package looks better than the one in the promo shot.
Overall though, these look like solid figures… I want Battle Cat (but I won’t use that silly mask), and Skeletor and Trap-Jaw look like standouts to me.
I’m getting some serious Vykron vibes from He-Man’s harness in this shot.
Mixed in with a bit of DC’s Eternity War look…
What they’ve shown so far isn’t bad. I mean, this Battle Cat definitely has the potential to replace my MOTUC replica. Trap Jaw looks pretty convincing, and thus tempting as well. Skeletor gets an honorable mention for the texture of his costume. I have no comments at all for the rest of the roster, which left me indifferent.
Wow. These mostly look really freaking good. Battle Cat, Trap Jaw and Skeletor being real stand outs for me. The Skeletor video is cool to see the details up close like the spine on the cape and Snake motif on the waist armor. Looks like the jaw moves too.
Trap Jaw looks perfect holy…
He-Man looks really good and I like Teela, interesting she has a second head sculpt showing her with the classic hair bun.
Evil Lynn continues to be the weakest of the bunch and its a shame they managed to screw up a Alison Brie likeness on the figure. It would of been so much better if she had a smirk or a devilish smile fit for character, instead she just looks bored and not much like Alison if at all.
I’m just confused as to what Mattel are offering though. If these are closer to the 6 inches scale, so neither Origins nor Masterverse, then what scale is the other kids stuff supposed to be with all the vehicles and players? Another scale?!
Teela’s bun is confirmed! And Battle Cat is confirmed! Give us Orko! These look amazing!
I wonder if the kids line will be around Origins scale… the CGI line was , kinda (though the scaling was all over the place).
But yeah, it’s also possible the kiddie line will be slightly smaller, (like the original Turtles toys?)– 4.5in, 5in,… my head is spinning!
The line is now on display at the International toy fair in Nuremberg and Reuters has the report and some show photos.

Teela looks way better there over the proto. Also looks like there’s some extra detail on He-Man with the iron cross being a translucent red plastic? Movement looks good on the figure too.
They kinda look like a slightly plussed up version of the newer, larger Origins bucks. A halfway house between those and Masterverse. He-Man is either supposed to be squat and a walking tank or tall and built. These don’t look big enough either way so far.
Is April 25th the release date (Out) or preorder date?
Great job to release these through Entertainment Weekly! Truly making the figures part of the whole project, and advertising the movie through this presentation. Fun photos with the actors, too.
Gotta say I like these. Some real standouts in Trap-Jaw, Skeletor, Battle-Cat, and I really like He-Man, too!
Still concerned about the scale. That will decide if I get just a couple of these, or more… The joints etc still look very MV. Still hard to tell about the size.
Edit: Yeah those Nürnberg photos look very much like these are smaller.Almost the size of the 200X Origins or just a little bigger… hm
I said this a while back, I’m expecting most of the promo to be from Mattel. At least until closer to the actual release.
You can just make out Ram Man in the right corner. Definitely more stuff is on display in Nuremberg!

I’m terrible with scale but still looks slightly smaller than Masterverse. Maybe. 😆

Yeah, those are definitely ‘small’. At least Teela looks way better than that promo shot (why the fuck do they keep putting those out? It’s the same with Origins, you don’t know what stage your actual figure will have gone into production at and first impressions are important!)
This is a photo from Reuters which makes He-Man look smaller than MV

I keep coming back to the same mad thought then dismissing it again… what if this is the kids line? Lol.
Copium lol They’re listed as the “collector’s line" so definitely not the kids line.
Apparently I wasn’t far off though, an Australian guy says he found an old email (it’s been posted here recently as a video) and the First Ones are essentially detailed Origins figures of the movie looks at 24.99 each.
Chronicles is listed as only half an inch taller but will presumably be 29.99 or whatever.
First Ones is getting all sorts of stuff, Roton with firing missiles, action feature Battle Cat, role-playing Power Sword with features, Skeletor mask…
Yeah the mask was at Nuremberg this week. I’m assuming so is the rest of the line but it’s under wraps likely till New York.
I’m really curious to see them all though.
Man…. I’m starting to turn into a real snob lol. I don’t like the paint apps on any of these figures. They all look so cheap.
Look at the detailing on JoyToy’s Warhammer figures: https://joytoy.com/products/blood-angels-captain-with-heavy-bolt-pistol-power-sword
Figures are 5 inches, but fully articulated. Same thing with the paint apps on Mythic Legions figures. Mattel really needs to step up their game.
@smokinya bro, Joytoy is killing, I only wish they can do the MOTU figures…I am collecting Joytoy TMNT line for few months now, and I can tell you those are the best TMNT toys I have ever seen in my life…
Another international news story from Nuremberg showing off the figures that’s an extended version that revealed Ram-Man
