Here is Daniel’s announcement on X, indicating he is currently working on the film’s score:

I HAVE THE POWER! ⚔️

VERY excited to reveal I will be using some fabulous secret powers to conjure up the music to the riot that is #MastersOfTheUniverse. Travis Knight is an absolute joy to work with and we are making my most maximalist score ever.

And according to daniel-pemberton.com (a site that is not representing the composer on an official capacity), recording sessions for “Masters of the Universe” will start in a couple weeks.

JANUARY 23, 2026: Daniel is currently finishing his score for upcoming MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE for director Travis Knight. Recording sessions will start in a couple of weeks and the movie will be released by Amazon MGM Studios on June 5.

So all of this likely means the musical score we heard in the New “Masters of the Universe” trailer released this past Thursday are likely temporary tracks… and not the official soundtrack.

We’ll see you next time.
