From June 2024 through June 2025, Prince Adam and He-Man actor Nicholas Galitzine endured an impressive body transformation for next year’s big budget tentpole film “Masters of the Universe”. (We tracked that transformation HERE.)

Training so far in advance meant Nicholas Galitzine had to build muscle mass during production for another movie called “100 Nights of Hero” (in theaters now).

Well now, talking to People, Nicholas Galitzine delved into his body transformation and revealed it was far from easy:

NICHOLAS GALITZINE: "It's the hardest thing I've ever done; it was a daily challenge, but there is something incredibly empowering about committing to something so heavily. I've never had a challenge like that before, which really every single day you have to wake up and you can see the peak of the mountain vaguely, but especially when you're bulking. I think it would be insincere for me to say that it was easy."
People reported that Nicholas Galitzine mentioned that he felt “body dysmorphia” the more he trained, and he left a “definite dent” in the bed that he slept on:

NICHOLAS GALITZINE: "You don't recognize yourself, you don't fit in any of your clothes anymore.
Regardless of the ordeal he put his body through, Nicholas Galitzine indicated it was worth it, but only as a temporary transition.
NICHOLAS GALITZINE: "But really, I'm so gratified that I got to experience it and trying to fit this very larger-than-life character. (But) It's not something I'd be keen to do or maintain all year round."
The “Masters of the Universe” Movie is currently in Post-Production with the film scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026
We’ll see you next time!
