OUR THOUGHTS:
Another Skeletor-controls-big-monster episode that may be dependent on how annoying the viewer finds Lady Edwina. This average fare is elevated by entertaining moments like a brief origin story of how Orko came to Eternia and met Prince Adam, to Skeletor actually taking the palace. (6/10)

  1. Imma be real with y’all it’s better for me to comment on these episodes when they’re fresh in my mind, right after watching them, but this website maintenance has kinda made it a bit hard for this watch-a-thon, but I’m still keeping up.

All I can say is cute Orko episode about how money can’t buy you friends.

I love how Randor almost immediately surrenders to Skeletor even though he probably has like dozens of palace guards at his disposal, that can’t beat but at least keep the monster occupied but no because that would require more animation so he’s just like “Nah, Skeletor you win."

  2. Overall this is a good episode but there is one thing in it that bothers me. Edwina is Adam’s cousin and she basically admits she is attracted to him. I don’t think something like that is appropriate for kids. It’s not all bad because Orko learns a valuable lesson thanks to her but maybe they should have made them unrelated. The scenes with Adam and Cringer as youngsters are perfect.
