Anybody else gettin the feeling these ain’t gonna sell like the Filmation figures did and it stops with what we saw at Mattel’s SDCC booth?
In Europe at least the Filmation figures are clogging warehouses. I expect these to be even worse tbh. Again, European scenario, but it felt like nobody trusted Mattel after the Origins and Masterverse shitshows. It’s a nightmare trying to buy MOTU across the pond so the same characters yet again…
Also it’s mental that so many waves already have inbox images. Tbh I expect 200x to die a quick death just before the movie merch. Filmation already seems wonky with the random royals and severe lack of PoP.
Filmation not popular over there? The walmarts over here seem to sell most of that shit fast.
Dude I’ll swear it to my grave that except for She-Ra and some Horde characters She-Ra will never sell. It’s those characters. Let me drop a truth bomb. Those characters are second rate.
Gets almost immediately discounted whether Smyths or Amazon, even Amazon Germany. And they LOVE Masters over there. I’m not sure what the euro price is, but it translates as £12 a figure in no time at all for Filmation and £18 for Masterverse.
