The COVER for the Masters of the Universe: Retro Power! Coloring Book is revealed that will feature “reproductions of original art from the 1980s”

A few weeks ago we reported that Mattel is pulling out all the stops in regards to releasing merchandise to time with the upcoming new “Masters of the Universe” Movie next year. And some of that merchandise included children’s books!

One of those books coming next year will be the Masters of the Universe: Retro Power! Coloring Book. Below are the details:

Feel like a kid again as you bring to life original 1980s coloring book art from Masters of the Universe and She-Ra Princess of Power. Perfectly timed to coincide with the live-action movie hitting theaters June 5, 2026.

He-Man, She-Ra and the heroes are battling it out with Skeletor and the villains of Eternia in this nostalgic reproduction coloring book. Whether it reminds you of your childhood or you’re just excited to go retro, there’s tons of fun to be had coloring these classic designs.

Well now we can reveal the cover to this “Retro Power!” coloring book that includes the caption “..featuring reproductions of original art from the 1980s.” Check it out:

Unfortunately, while we are eager to see samples of the interior art, they have not been released at this time.

The Masters of the Universe: Retro Power! Coloring Book will be 80 pages in length and can be found everywhere you buy children’s books on May 5, 2026.

  1. That is awesome.
    Not that thick for a coloring book, actually… but hey inflation is everywhere!

    It’s funny that this makes me want to get that other , Revelation themed coloring book. Just somehow stuff gets more interesting if it’s not ist a random blip in time.

    This is a great follow-up and look forward seeing more of it! As a fan of MOTU art and memorabilia, I think I’ll get this!
