Announced by Mattel, The Evil Robot of a Thousand Bodies is coming to the Masters of the Universe: Origins “Vintage” action figure line.
Scheduled to be released on February 15, 2026, while we only have one promotional image to share, there are plenty of product details:
Please note that while these details describe Multi Bot as a “Cartoon Collection” figure, this new figure actually has the vintage design.
(Mattel made the same mistake with the vintage Modulok figure, by mistakenly labeling it as “Cartoon Collection” in both its pre-order listings and at San Diego Comic-Con.)

Masters of The Universe Origins Action Figure Deluxe Multi-Bot
- This Origins Cartoon Collection Multi-Bot action figure is inspired by He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episodes from the ‘80s.
- The 34 modular parts provide a thousand mix and match possibilities! There are even enough pieces to create 2 complete robotic creatures. Or one multi-limbed mega-robo-beast!
- This Multi-Bot figure also comes with 2 blasters that can be used separately or combine into 1 deluxe weapon!
- This MOTU Origins toy stands 5.8-inches tall with one torso, legs and head. An included shield accessory doubles as a tool to assist in removing ball joints from sockets.
- Fans will want to collect all the figures to form a nostalgic showcase that evokes the childhood wonder of the 1980s. Each figure sold separately, subject to availability.

I’ve been playing with him lately, displaying him in proximity to Flipshot (Icarus), who is attacking Skeletek while Motherboard threatens to awaken at any moment, surrounded by a technological environment. However, I’m wondering how he would look as a new Eternia piece.
Multi Bot was in Filmation She-Ra not Filmation He-Man so the timing would be perfect for a cartoon collection version. I wish Mattel would have waited another year before moving to 200X.

Seems to be, I imagine it’s timed like Modulok was. It’s a remarkably stupid way to release an army builder and especially with Mattel’s godawful distribution. In Europe they just dumped Modulok pallets wherever.
Surprised that Mattel managed to keep a lid on this – I don’t think even Toy Habits had a rumour going…
