“Masters of the Universe” Actress MORENA BACCARIN talks her Sorceress Costume, watching the Classic Cartoon and Nicholas Galitzine’s body transformation!

The Sorceress of Grayskull speaks!

Actress Morena Baccarin, most famous for her role in the ‘Deadpool‘ franchise, was promoting her new television series “Sheriff Country” when she was asked about her role as the Sorceress in the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” Movie.

Morena took the time to address the physical transformation of actor Nicholas Galitzine, being a fan of the classic cartoon and talked a little about her Sorceress costume (while speaking to Variety.) Here is what she had to say:

On Nicholas Galitzine’s physical transformation:

“It’s insane. I saw him on set and he’d been training for months and months and months, I was like, ‘Oh, my god, how did you do that?’”

On growing up watching the He-Man cartoon:

“I grew up watching He-Man, my brother and I, so it was a really big part of my childhood."

On her Sorceress costume:

"It was really cool once I got there and saw the costume and what they had in mind for me — the whole get-up and the wig and contacts and all of it. I’m so excited to see what they make of it because I feel like my part of it was just such a small element to what it’s going to actually be in the end.”

The “Masters of the Universe” Movie is currently in Post-Production with the film scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026.

We’ll see you next time!

    1. I can’t wait for this movie! I can’t wait to see Nicholas Galitzine explain everything that went into him getting MASSIVE. I hope he explains his diet too in case we want to change our bodies just like he did.

As someone who goes to the gym regularly, tracks their calories, tracks their lifts, weighs in daily to track weight gain/loss, etc. the answer to your question is: steroids
You can radically change your body over the course of several months to a certain degree, but building an elite natural physique if you have average genetics, are damn near perfect with nutrition and working out would take almost 10 years to sap out your gains. To build an intermediate physique you’d be looking at a solid 3-5 years. And this is considering you started off skinny around the 140-160 lbs mark. If you already were overweight it’s a whole different ball game. Nicks before pictures show that he was a fairly skinny guy, seemed to be somewhat athletic, but definitely not a body builder by any means. Building muscle even with S tier genetics naturally takes a very long time. It’s very slow. Considering he only had maybe 9 months maximum to get in shape for this role he was 100% taking a chemical cocktail of some kind. Just like all Hollywood action stars do. Now I don’t think he juicing to an insane degree like a body builder was, but he had help without a shadow of a doubt.

You may be the only blonde hair, muscled warrior fan that actually goes to the gym himself. 🤪

    3. @gettinhighlander I’m a jacked gym rat too, but you’re right, it does seem to be oddly rare to see MOTU fans that actually work out. One of my goals is to do some respectable MOTU cosplay with actual natural muscle.

I have the body of a god. It’s the mind of a whore letting me down…

LMAO That should be on a t-shirt
