Wave One packaging is revealed for the Origins “Cartoon Collection” (200X) Action Figure line: HE-MAN, STRATOS and TRI-KLOPS!

Wave One has been revealed!

Today we received our first look at the packaging for Wave One of the new Masters of the Universe: Origins “Cartoon Collection” (200X) action figure line!

Consisting of HE-MAN, STRATOS and TRI-KLOPS, the packaging for this first wave inspired by the 2002 animated series “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” is very reminiscent of the preceeding classic Filmation cartoon waves.

While seemingly absent of artifact accessories, the packaging itself references favorite episodes that the particular character (realized in Origins plastic) has appeared in!

Here is a closer look:

A release date has yet to be announced, but we expect the first wave for the new Masters of the Universe: Origins “Cartoon Collection” (200X) action figure line to be available at fan channel retailers soon.

We’ll see you next time!

    1. Me too! I really like the Filmation figures

We are missing so many too. I want the whole royal family and where is Octavia? They teased her a long time ago I though they would have released her by now.

    2. I hope that’s not it for the Filmation figures. 😪

I will be extremely agitated if this is the case.

For me, Filmation > MYP any day of the week and thrice on Sundays.
And there are so many great Filmation characters that NEED to get figures!!!
*cough* Dragoon *cough* Negator *cough* Marzo *cough* Ileena (etc., etc.)

  1. These card are not as harmonic, color-wise, but I guess you have to mix things up… interestingly, Castle Grayskull was never green in the show – but it was in the 200X toys.

As it was with pre-CC Origins, these feel more like a redo of the 200X toy line, rather than based on the cartoon. Otherwise, He-Man would need to be a whole lot thicker … he was huge in the show!

    1. Oh no… I don’t see a mini comic or a call out for one…

I love the comics. The first cartoon series has comics. It could be that these are prototypes and Mattel didn’t have the comics ready to put them inside.

  2. I’m so excited to see the mutant warriors on these card backs! These are among the most eye-catching ones alongside the Skelcons regarding Skeletor’s army (all Motu medias considered). Bring them on! At this scale, they may be the ideal fit with my Masterverse, and not to mention the few Mondo 1/12 figures I could consider buying.
