The premiere issue for Dark Horse Comics and Mattel’s Masters of the Universe new comic series titled “The Sword of Flaws” won’t be arriving in comic book stores until next week, but we already have the exciting covers and synopsis for issue #4 to show you!
Starting with the cover artwork, issue #4 will have two covers to choose from, the main featuring Skeletor and one variant featuring a brutal looking.He-Man.

“In this series finale, Orko and the Sorceress discover the truth behind the violet blade while He-Man and the Masters of the Universe face-off against Skeletor and his henchmen. It’s a battle between good and evil; a clash between magic, technology, and might. But who will be victorious? Can good always triumph over evil? Or is this where the end begins?
Series finale.”
Written by Tim Seeley and illustrated by Freddie E. Williams II, this fourth and final issue will debut everywhere on January 14th.
But it all begins when this four issue limited “The Sword of Flaws” series debuts with Issue #1, landing on comic book shelves and digital platforms everywhere this September 24th, 2025!
