This past March, we reported that the long anticipated Mattel Adventure Park in Glendale Arizona was scheduled to open in late 2025, per Epic Resort Destinations and Mattel Adventure Park president Mark Cornell.

That late 2025 date punctuated a long list of missed grand openings for the park, touted to contain a “He-Man Versus Skeletor Laser Tag” attraction in a giant 4,500 square foot Castle Grayskull.

It’s hard to fathom that Mattel Adventure Park was originally slated to open in the first quarter of 2023.

Well now, Mattel Adventure Park has been delayed again with no opening date in sight.

According to the reporting of AZCentral, VAI Resort’s Mattel Adventure Park and surrounding resort are no longer ready to provide a specific opening date… and “expects to make an opening date announcement about nine to 12 months in advance of the grand opening.“

Based on this new information, the earliest the Glendale Arizona Mattel Adventure Park will open is 2026 (and now even 2027 seems a likely possibility).

A second Mattel Adventure Park is also under construction in Kansas.
