“His scent is like forrest pine!”

What adult collectors often remember about owning a vintage Moss Man figure as a child (other than it being a green, flocked recast figure of Beast Man) is its unique forresty smell, created by mixing scented oils into the plastic during the manufacturing process.

Moss Man’s memorable smelly action feature has been duplicated throughout the years in other Masters of the Universe action figure lines, and Mattel quite possibly has done it again with Masterverse!

Early reports are suggesting the Masterverse “New Eternia” Moss Man Action figure has a unique odor, possibly smelling like a Fir Tree. YouTuber DerSitti was the first on the case, and this is what he described:

“That Mossman stinks. Phew, I’ll show you him right here in his little ribbon. I think he’s kind of awesome.

Wow, he really stinks. He has a kind of smell, I don’t know what it is yet. It could also just be the plastic that’s still trapped in the packaging. But he definitely stinks really bad. No, it’s not plastic.”

So it really appears that the new Masterverse Masters of the Universe “New Eternia” Moss Man Figure will come scented, a first for the Masterverse action figure line!
