Towards the end of filming the “Masters of the Universe” Movie, Ram Man actor Jon Xue Zhang sat down for the “Stage & Screen with Me’Sha Bryan” show and discussed various aspects of his life and career.

While he was limited in what he could say, Jon Xue Zhang also briefly talked about his experience playing the “Heroic Human Battering Ram” known as Ram Man. Here are a few things he had to say:

On filming the “Masters of the Universe” Movie:

Jon Xue Zhang: "It's intensive. It's intensive, but it's a dream come true. Now, I think being a fan of the show, I have an older brother who was really into all the comic books, you know, "X-Men", "Batman", "Avengers". We had all the comic books and we watched all the cartoons and "Masters of the Universe" was one of them. We had all the action figures. Yeah, yeah, so it was amazing."

On receiving feedback from the fans:

Jon Xue Zhang: "But I'd say it's really nice to be recognized for work that you do. And thus far… fans of shows that I've been in, or even Masters of the Universe. I get messages on social media or emails, you know, from fans from the 80's congratulating me which is really awesome. And it's like, I have your blessing. You're a fan of the original show. I have your blessing. Okay cool."

If the Ram Ham helmet was comfortable:

Jon Xue Zhang: "Umm it's insulated. (laughs)"

Me'Sha Bryan: "Then it's hot then. (laughs)"

Jon Xue Zhang: "I would love to have it for the Winter. (laughs) But I mean, I've been in a couple superhero costumes before and they are quite toasty and I'm grateful that this one has a zip. That I can..."

Me'Sha Bryan: "At the front."

Jon Xue Zhang: "For my trousers. (Laughs)"
