NICHOLAS GALITZINE Poses in Leather? Skirted HE-MAN COSTUME while filming “Masters of the Universe” Movie!

By the Power of Muscles! Actor Nicholas Galitzine seemed to show off his He-Man costume today via an Instagram Story, while on location filming the new “Masters of the Universe” Movie at the Wookey Hole in Somerset!

Standing behind a curtain and apparently filmed by one of his crew members, Nicholas Galitzine performed a brief series of bodybuilding poses behind a curtain.

What we also noticed is this Masters of the Universe (2026) version of HE-MAN will not be in a Furry Loincloth, but rather what appears to be a Leather Skirt:

This lines up with what we assessed back in February when we brightened up the first official promotional image of HE-MAN from the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” Movie to examine the detail…. and learned the costume feels somewhat inspired by the first Mondo He-Man figure.

We can’t wait to see the full costume unobstructed!

Filming for “Masters of the Universe” is currently underway with the movie scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026.

Thanks to the amazing Dale for the scoop!

We’ll see you next time!

    1. Sorry Dolph but Nick is going to be the best He-Man ever. I can’t wait to see him without the curtain!

      Those are fighting words.

Dolph will cry himself to sleep at night after he sees how good this movie turns out. 😭

  1. It’s hard to tell, but is he wearing any harness there? From looking at the shoulders and chest when turned… it looks like he doesn’t have harness on this. So while I agree the Mondo figure inspiration is likely (as many, many fans pointed out when they first saw the poster image), but I’m not sure if the leather thing he is wearing here is final one. But curious to see when we finally get official character poster hopefully. 🙂 🙂

He may have been in a state of getting dressed and the harness is the one item that does not require a privacy curtain.

      I can see a harness.

    1. @firefly Whoa, I had to look that up and to be honest when I read it I wasn’t surprised. That news has been in the air for a loooooong time. Depending on how this plays out in the next week and the news cycle, it would be in this movies best interest to pull the plug. For an IP this major after taking decades to finally get back to the big screen. They would be fools to keep him. If I recall there were a lot folks here and on other sites like myself included, that said “Huh?!!! why him?!!!

    2. @firefly I think audiences would be more willing to accept Jared Leto in a movie if you can’t see his face. Hopefully Skel’s face is fully mo-cap CG and not makeup with eyes like in ’87.
The cast is already so stacked. Yeah Leto’s is somehow equal to Elba in general public awareness actor tier (The two biggest names in the cast) but there are so many other characters in the movie.
Not saying Skeletor won’t have little screentime, he definitely will have a lot, but his face being a skull would just straight up make people forget in the moment while watching the movie that it’s unhinged Joker.
Plus, IDK but if this movie gets a sequel I think it would be really easy to recast Skeletor because again, skull face and as long as the performance is similar enough.
My personal fancast for Hordak should sequels be made is Ben Mendelsohn, seriously, I think he would be PERFECT. But I think he could also be a good enough Skeletor in this aforementioned scenario.

  2. Even though I am not a big collector out side of the classic stuff and comics, after revisiting and digging deeper into the Mondo version I think it would be a decent balance between the old and what would pass as the typical changes to the classics to “modernize" it. The colors are darker, so that plays into the typical Hollywood mode for cartoon / comic characters who make it to the big screen. As far as his size, you can mask all of that with the feats of heroics and angle shots. I’m looking forward to seeing it.
