hey I seem to be having a problem with the site, not only here but BattleRam Blog and the new org.
All pics and attachments are showing as blue square with ‘this content is not available in your region.’
obviously I use all three sites for entertainment, news, research etc but now can’t seem to access any images. I did try using a vpn but then I can’t use the sites or log in.
Started last week.

anyone else?

@dan1980

I've heard this issue occur with users of the Safari Browser as well geo-blocking preventing people from seeing content based on their geographical location.

According to Google,

to resolve a Safari Browser issue:
  1. Reload the page: The simplest solution is often the most effective. Click the reload button or press Command-R.
  2. Clear your browser cache:
    • In the Safari menu, go to Settings > Privacy.
    • Click Manage Website Data and select Remove All.
  3. Check your extensions:
    • Go to Settings > Extensions.
    • Temporarily disable all extensions to see if the problem disappears.
  4. Test with a private window:
    • Create a new Private Window (File > New Private Window).
    • This prevents a site from using cached data and cookies from your previous browsing session.
  5. Check your internet connection and VPN:
    • Turn off any VPN you may be using. If you have iCloud+, you can also try temporarily disabling Private Relay for the website by going to View > Reload and Show IP Address.
    • Try accessing the content in a different browser to see if the issue is specific to Safari.

to resolve geo-blocking:

Resolving this issue typically involves either using a VPN or changing your location settings within the app or service.
  • Change platform settings: For app stores, you can change your country setting in your account preferences. Be aware that some platforms, like Google Play, may have limitations, such as restricting you from changing your country more than once a year.
  • Use a VPN: A VPN can mask your IP address to make it appear as if you are browsing from a different country. This is a common way to bypass geo-restrictions for content.
  • Change browser settings: If the issue is with a particular website, clearing your browser's cache, cookies, and site data may help. Some users have also reported success by checking browser settings to ensure the correct region is set.

Hope that helps!
