[Note: While places like USA Today predict a "Masters of the Universe" Super Bowl trailer, other places like Variety don't believe Amazon is participating.] A few days ago we learned that TWO new trailers were classified for the "Masters of the Universe" Movie (other than the teaser trailer we already saw.) These trailers were classified on January 30th by the British Board of Film Classification and the trailer was rated 12u (suitable for ages 12 and over). So now, with the first "Masters of the Universe" trailer we already saw... there is a second "B" Trailer with a 1 minute…
We have the Power!
Airing a trailer during the Superbowl would give He-Man more exposure than the brand has seen since 1986. It's almost hard to fathom as a long suffering fan that we might be at that point shortly.
54 seconds? That's a weird length unless Mattel is combining it with toy footage.
Before the 50 second trailer starts Nick takes off his shirt and flexes in the beginning and says DO YOU WANT TO SEE MORE OF THIS??????? WATCH THIS TRAILER!!!!!

Already? Do you think it will have new scenes or just have everything we've seen before?

Yeah, this is a huge deal. Especially with Marvel deciding NOT to air an Avengers or Spider-Man trailer during the SB, MOTU will practically have the entire spotlight to itself.

They decided that? Darn. I was hoping to see Spider-Man.
Sadly it appears there won't be a Super Bowl ad but honestly not surprised. This year the rate is $7-10 million for a 30 second ad.
With just 3 YouTube channels however the trailer has amassed over 92 million views since it dropped and Amazon and Mattel didn't have to drop anywhere near that amount of dough to get that reach.
No idea why the BBFC has rated different trailers though. I assume it hasn't screened in UK cinemas and perhaps Sony is planning to this weekend with Nicholas's new movie 100 Nights of Hero?
Edit: Actually disregard the SB info as Amazon MGM announced Project Hail Mary will have a spot and trailer so the studio isn't ruled out!
Amazon and the NFL have a pretty spiffy relationship... I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see a wholly new trailer for Master of the Universe. As a matter of fact, I expect one.
