I was hoping they'd only spend like 15 minutes on Earth, but this makes it look like it will be longer. Teela looks alright. It doesn't wow me, but it is about what I expected minus the gun.

I'm sorry but that suit looks really cheap. It would have had so much more impact as the standard costume because then she'd be a fish out of water while he blends in. But I guess we can't be having women be considered traditionally sexy now by anyone. God forbid.Β
The costumes in superhero movies often look cheap in regular photos. It will look better in the actual movie.

Honestly I do not understand the complaints of "Not showing off more skin", like who cares? Personally I like what they are doing and I think it will be easy to replicate for cosplayers. If i had to complain about anything. I would say I would have like to see the material either look more like a high tech weave sort of material or a more "Made from animal hide" look to the material with some plating for the gold parts. But design is subjective. I think she looks great overall and as far as we know so far she isnt fully "kitted" up yet.
@samuel I know she uses a two handed blaster in Teela's Triumph... but the disintegration ray I can't remember. Possibly Ordeal in the Badlands...?

@firefly yeah, i kinda do get what u mean actually. seeing teela running around an earth city is giving 1987 movie vibes tbh.
not hating at all ofc, ig it makes sense like this is how adam gets back to eternia, teela comes to pick him up. kinda like the way hagrid comes to pick up harry potter and takes him to the wizarding world.
but to your point firefly, i too really hope this doesn't mean that a lot of the movie will be on earth. hopefully, it's just the like 10 or 15 minutes tops.

camila has similar hair to teela in the revelations series, in particular that scene at the of episode 1 where she has her hair down.Β
- The costume does look cheap but I like it. When she was first cast, I thought Camila Mendes was an odd choice but I have to say, she looks fantastic!

I was hoping for something more in line with the vintage figure. Something like live action Xena and Gadot WW with an Eternian sci-fi twist.Β
Maybe thatβs her Earth gear, and she has a costume change or two.Β
