Fans of the "Masters of the Universe: Revelation & Revolution" Netflix Animated Series have been chomping at the bit for another season. Teasing fans with an end-stinger that Despara would appear (the Horde alter ego of Adam's twin sister Adora), followers of the show were anticipating the long-awaited reunion of He-Man and She-Ra in animation. However, based on public engagement reports, "Masters of the Universe: Revolution" did not do well ratings-wise. While it ranked in Netflix's Top-10 in its initial release, it was against weak competition and viewership did not compare to the successful "Masters of the Universe: Revelation" Part…

Hmmm... There's an unfortunate reminder to be made here: we had enough of Despara as a drawn character back in the 2010s (thanks to DC Comics). Having her in motion is one thing, but having her in action on the battlefield was the only way to do this unique character justice. But anyway, at least now the curtain has fallen once and for all — no more suspense!

I would be happy with a comic by those creators. It's not as good as animation but after three great parts I already gave up on wanting one more. Too much time has passed. I think Mattel will want to move on to the movie canon now.

This may be kind of old fashioned but how about a novel? My whole family really loves to read.

For my sake, I’d be very happy settling for a comic finale or ongoing continuation. However, my daughter had grown up with these shows, and it had been a really bonding experience for us. She desperately wants another season. I’m really hoping Netflix is waiting to see how the movie does in 2026 or plans to release something to coincide with it. I know it doesn’t seem likely at this point, but I’m an eternal optimist and the fact that they have officially cancelled it yet gives me hope.

@orcdawg These days shows are not cancelled officially. Look at the children's He-Man series mate. You may learn something from an actor or showrunner in an interview but if that doesn't happen fans are left wondering. Their lack of communication is frustrating.

Let it just end with Revolution.

That would certainly be better for the wider brand, especially next year. As is everything is getting rebooted one way or another.

I can take it or leave it but that creative team wishlist will do it justice.

I could settle for a comic to tie up any loose ends from Revolution, but I'd also be ok if it doesn't happen since the story had a nice, happy ending.

@durendal That’s a good thought. There wasn’t really any major loose ends at the end of Revolution, just future plots that could be further explored. It was a good ending that I can be happy with…though I really want to see those plots continue
