Back in December 2025, we surmised that the first “Masters of the Universe” trailer would be timed along with “Mercy”, another big theatrical film staring Chris Pratt that was coming to theaters from Amazon MGM Studios. Will Amazon MGM’s New Movie “Mercy” finally bring us the long-awaited New “MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE” Trailer? Then on January 22nd (a day before the official theatrical release of "Mercy") it happened; The first teaser trailer for "Masters of the Universe" was released! Well now, this Friday, March 20th, Amazon MGM's next big budget movie "Project Hail Mary" is coming to theaters! And this…

@dgsimo Since the new trailer is slightly 14 seconds shorter in running time and has less objectionable content, I didn’t want to rule out a cut down version for British audiences perhaps without the Skeletor fight after the title card. They are a little more restrictive with violence over there for the kiddies! 😊

Its possible. The timing is all a little suspect though. It'll be interesting to see what happens this week!
I never liked this approach anyway. I mean, releasing several movie trailers before the movie is actually launched in theaters. It ruins the surprise factor considerably. But, in any case, this is the consumerist society we're living in.
It's hard to be surprised by things today but it doesn't stop me from enjoying something unless there is a twist ending. If I like it I'm going to watch this movie a hundred times anyway.
@admin "objectionable content"?
By Britian's standards. The last trailer was rated 12A (i.e. under 12 cannot watch that trailer without being accompanied by an adult).
The "new" trailer is rated PG (which is equivalent to a green band trailer in the United States.)
What they found objectionable is (I assume) Skeletor perhaps being too scary for children, but I don't know for certain.
