In case anybody was wondering here...NOPE. There are no Masters of the Universe references or easter eggs in any way, shape, or form in the movie even though it's partially a Mattel production.
BUT, don't let that sway you from seeing it. Damn good film. I don't think I've seen a tentpole big budget movie balance being so affectively dramatic and so damn hilarious at the same time in AGES.
Let's hope its success has a positive impact on both future Masters of the Universe and She-Ra live-action projects!

I enjoyed it. I get the criticisms, but frankly I like that it has something to say about both sides, and shows how silly the battle of sexes can get....eventually they'll be people who will break away from it to find themselves and be all the better for it, and that's what happens here

I 💘 Barbie and I didn't even play with dolls and you didn't need to as a child to love it. I hope its success helps He-Man and She-Ra get their movies now. We waited long enough for them!!!
