2025 was an unmemorable year, or perhaps it was memorable for the wrong reasons. I agree that it has been a blur. I'm just glad it's over and I hope 2026 will be better. However, the best part was making friends with my amazing new buddy Dr Michael "Mike" Mrozinski.
Hopefully no hospitals this year! My feet are on the upward swing so far.
My fibromyalgia and arthritis will always be with me, but I am learning to deal with it. I want to create my art with my new pencils but my hands ache at the moment.
I can't wait to see Magic Faraway Tree, Masters Of The Universe & Supergirl in the cinemas this year.
I would also love to complete my Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers DVD sets this year.
Sadly, I heard it said that She-Ra & The Princesses Of Power may be leaving Netflix in February, so I hope they will release it on DVD, or at least release Seasons 4 & 5 since Seasons 1 - 3 are already on DVD.
I heard it rumoured that Susanna Hoffs might be releasing her memoirs and a new album in 2026, so hopefully this is true.
I am also looking forward to the epilepsy fundraiser livestream event next week which will feature Jane Wiedlin & Gina Schock from The Go-Go's and Vicki Peterson from The Bangles.

My next Disney Twisted Tales novel - No One Gets Left Behind (based on Lilo & Stitch) written by newbie Keala Kendall will be released on March 1. She also wrote the last novel How Far I'll Go (based on Moana) which I have of course.
As of now, there are six authors in the Twisted Tales novel series: Liz Braswell, Elizabeth Lim, Jen Calonita, Farrah Rochon, Mari Mancusi & now Keala Kendall.
Also being released this year are Disney Twisted Tales: Adventure Is Out There (based on Up) written by Liz Braswell - and an as yet unknown-titled Disney Villains novel written by Serena Valentino which will be based on Chernabog from Fantasia.
In a few months, we will also be into the new season of MasterChef which means lots of updates and making new friends to go with those already made from the series so far.

2025 was so fast, yet so slow. So good, yet so bad. The times you reached out and almost had them, then you slip and get hurt. The times everyone left you, then they won't come back. The parent you hate, did so much damage, won't be forgiven. The one you love, you almost had, but you slip on your own words. 2025 was a wave reaching for the shore. A hand wanting to be held. A year that proved to us all we can be so much more. No matter what tries to ruin us, a parent, arthritis, surgery, it can't truly take away our courage in our hearts. I'm going to try to be happier and let her go. I'm also looking forward to Masters of the Universe, Avengers: Doomsday, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Dune: Messiah, and The next Doctor Who Christmas Special. All of those coming this year. Just look on the brightside, and things will get better.
2025 was fabulous. I'm hoping the same for 2026. I just want to get past my partial knee replacement surgery, scheduled for eleven days from now. I'm a tough old warrior so I think I'll be just fine.

2025 was probably one of the worst and best years of my life. Health issues were not being solved, other personal matters taking up all the time. I did however gain a grandchild. She came in November of 2024. I found a counsellor that I connect with, and she knows who the heck He-Man and She-Ra is. Both my Masterverse and Origins collections sky-rocketed.
I hope in 2026 that I finally get an answer to my heart issues. I am tired of nothing helping. I am having to cut back on the collecting until money stabilizes again. I blew my Jan budget for figures on Boxing Week sales. Mattel Creations had too good of a deal on a second 40th anniversary She-Ra and Swift Wind, Despara and Sharella. BBTS had sales and I ended up getting two of the TMNT Skeletor by mistake, Shredder Deluxe, a 3rd Skelcon, Reptilax, Nero-Conda. I used some Canadian sites for Masterverse Mantenna, Anti-Eternia He-Man, Keldor, and Dragstor, New Etheria Despara I had to get off US Amazon. For Origins I ordered 200X He-Man, Beast Man, Stratos, Tri-Klops, Evil-Lyn, Man-At-Arms, Moss Man. I also picked up a bunch of cheap CD's, the Tomb Raider edition Evercade handheld, and a collectors edition of Shantae and the Seven Sirens for the Switch.
I am looking forward to Spider-Man Brand New Day, Supergirl, Super Mario Galaxy, Mortal Kombat II, and of course Masters of the Universe.

Yeah, 2025 could have been better. Was hoping I could land a somewhat better job. Unfortunately, it did not happen. On the plus side, I've managed to track down a few potential leads these last few weeks. Here's hoping 🤞.

I have another hospital appointment tomorrow. I am hoping it will just be a routine check-up and I won't have to be hospitalised for any reason. I am so glad it is now Autumn. I just bought the new Disney Twisted Tales novel No One Gets Left Behind (based on Lilo & Stitch) by Keala Kendall and I am excited for Amy Grant's new album The Me That Remains in May, and I am counting down the days until the new Masters Of The Universe movie is released in June. Best Wishes my new and always fabulous friends. 😍
