For what its worth Ramen Toys, who were at the panel, said the figures were scaled slightly smaller than Masterverse.
I think the Evil Lyn figure would of greatly benefited with a more expressive face sculpt than the neutral one. 😆
Tell me those idiots aren't gonna mess around with scale now to get us to re-buy everything. I've already shot that down with Hasbro's Studio Series 86 nonsense where they've made certain figures silly large to justify their bullshit price points. It means major characters like 86 movie Prime and Megatron no longer scale with that collection you've been working on since 2019.
Mattel is crazy to be introducing a third MOTU scale.
If these don’t align with Masterverse/Classics, easy pass.
I just hope Masterverse/Classics and Origins scale aren’t done to make room for Chronicles and First Ones.
@grayskullguardsman In the event of a worst-case scenario, all future expenses will be allocated to Mondo. I have decided to prioritize larger diversity, both in terms of characters and quality, rather than having to restart my collection with each new semester. 😑

Anybody re-buying MV all over again in a different scale after the countless unfinished sublines that had needs a fucking brain scan.
Mattel needs to just incorporate MOTU 2026 into the existing MV line... call it whatever you want, but just make it scale with the rest - just like the 87 movie figures do, as well as new eternia, new etheria, classic, new adventures, revelation, etc.

They are very detailed… They have some more… delicate? Details due to their smaller size.

Australian collector got a email last summer from a distributor detailing the First Ones, Chronicles and role play toys for the movie. Apparently he didn't read the email until now. lol
The First Ones are 5.5" along with Battle Cat and vehicles to be compatible. The Roton look great! Chronicles is shown and indeed are a specific 1:12 or 6" figure line aimed at collectors.
A talking Skeletor mask is shown with phrases and a moving jaw. This was revealed at the international toy fair and some photos have been teased. There's also a deluxe First Ones Power Sword that's 27 inches with lights, vibration and sounds.
Honestly this line might be the one and all for me. The main thing missing thats needed is a movie Castle Grayskull!

First Ones is rumored to be the name of the movie toy line aimed at kids with vehicles, role play toys and more. The first 3 figures already dropped in Spain apparently.
@dgsimo Yah I know about First Ones, I just didn’t expect them to look like a knock off of Chronicles… (also had expected that it says “First Ones” on the package somewhere.
I guess I hadn’t looked at all the leaks etc because somehow, I was expecting something more akin the CGI line. 😅
I mean, these look almost exactly like Chronicles, just a bit cheaper.
Now I’m curious about scale, ofc.

@sketchyskeletor I’m sure this is European version, that can’t have an English bio, description “Most Powerful Man etc”. But these are not targeted at us anyway.
Somehow reminds me of Super 7 “Deluxe” versions of Thundercats (which really should be called “Basic”). Kind of dig the traditional blister card etc
