Not bad, I think the mostly prose stories are turning out better than the more comic style stories.
I'm thinking Eldor's mini comic will cover the "Long Journey" He, Mossman and He-Ro were on.
I'm 80% sure the cobra hooded Snakeman should be red.

Good point about that one Snake… I had wondered why we have two variations of Kobra Khan… I wish they had better briefings to the artist, but I guess there are a million characters at this point.

That also goes for Sky Tree: they probably forgot to mention the existing Alcala design to the artist. But then, I seem to remember he was also in Filmation, and ofc looked different there? Need to consult the World Compendium…

@cosmic the different look for the sky tree doesn't bother me as much as the red Snakeman being green or what ever happened in Sting-Or's mini comic.

A few thoughts and notes on Red Shadow's mini-comic:

-Mattel changed his (admittedly obscure) Classics bio in several ways. Before, he was an exiled beast man named Dumaskas who was captured by the GB Wizard. Here, he was a human named Elias magically combined with a wolf. It's more interesting, though I prefer his old real name. He also probably isn't related to Beast Lord here.

-GB Wizard has the Shaping Staff, which he was shown with in his Classics artwork. He will most likely have it if/when his figure is released. 

-The Shaping Staff has always been shown to disguise its user. Here, it combines a human with a wolf. What else can it do?

-Did Red Shadow kill the wolf pack leader and wear him like a scarf? Brutal.

-As Smitty said, Eldor's inevitable mini-comic will probably cover their "long journey".

-We seem to be putting the Preternian band together. Who else will join?

-What IS the relationship between the GB Wizard and the Snake Men? The Snake Men in general, and King Hiss in particular, were usually held up as the villains of Preternia. Here, GB Wizard seems to be. Is he calling the shots?

-Something that's always bugged me: why do they call it Preternia? "Pre" to what, exactly?

-The Snake Men get a weird comic-book cover style head count on the last page. No names, though. 

-As Smitty pointed out, the far right Snake Man on the last page is probably supposed to be new Origins character Serpentosss. If so, he should be red.

-I agree that the prose-heavy comics tend to be better.

@sketchyskeletor Even though it doesn’t quite make sense if they called it Preternia  back in that day, it’s a fun name and might be worth overlooking this flaw.

@chrisa I forget exactly who else was part of the team in POG in Classics, but it was a full roster. Sir Laser Lot was a member - he was kind of like the MAA of POG.

Skytree calls it "Preternia" on the second-to-last page. It isn't a big deal, really (I was annoyed when Revelation used it as the name for Heaven/Valhalla), it just strikes me as funny in an anachronistic way. Like the Flinstones celebrating Christmas. Whose birth are they celebrating?

There's also the mini comics that came with Despara, Vultak, Grizzlor, Extendar and Sting-Or that include the Horde in some way but they don't fit into the Invitation like Rio Blasts' does.

@smitty-81 Again thank you for all the information. I wanted to read them and wanted to make sure the order was correct.

@thedoctor I'm hoping they'll put out an Origins mini comics book, like the one they did for the vintage mini comics, that'll have everything in as close to chronological order as possible.

@smitty-81 I was just thinking this as well. It would be a grand idea.. Maybe they could do it in two volumes. Vol 1 Origins, Cartoon Collection, Vol 2 the crossover stuff.

@thedoctor I think volume 1 should just be the first 5 years. The line isn't over yet and doing one that is just the crossovers would be a really short book. 

Another thing is I think the crossover part of the book should include the cardback art too. With TOG some of the story was told in the blurbs. 

MOTU x Thundercats wave 3 Panthro card. I know it's not a mini comic but it's as close as we'll get...
