A few observations:

-If there was any doubt that this is the end of ToG, this comic should put them to rest. That's a wrap, fellas.

-So, Ninjor isn't a mutant, he's channeling the power of Serpos. Neat.

-Ninjor was included because he's a ninja and it's a Ninja Turtle crossover. I'm embarrassed at how long it took me to figure that out. 

- The Great American Novel this is not, but I do like the resolution to Mikey's little character arc where he looked up to He-Man, even dressing up like him, then actually channeled the Power of Grayskull in the end.

-Mikey's version of the Filmation opening is fun. 

-Speaking of which, where IS He-Man?

-I love how every pic of Mekaneck has him extending his neck pretty much without fail. It's his power and he's gonna use it!

- The art gets kinds wonky after Shredder becomes Serpos. Did Ninjor explode? What did Mikey do to Shredder? I dunno.

-I sincerely hope the Thundercats crossover is this much fun.

The Turtles weapons were enchanted with anti-mutagen. When Raph hit Shredder/ Serpos he returned to normal.

There's way too much back story for a six page mini comic.

Filmation Multi-Bot! We need that guy!

@durendal I think we'll get VC Multi-Bot before a CC one. Ideally we'd get both but like Modulok a CC Multi-Bot wouldn't have all the parts for mixing and matching and creating our own monstrosities.

A few notes:

-Mattel went with the Classics "real name" of Ro instead of the vintage "Gray" (Grey?)

-The Great Black Wizard was introduced in Classics as a background character and was mentioned in some bios. He appeared to be something of a Preternian magical arms dealer. Which fits here. This is the most fiction he has gotten so far.

-Draego-Man from Classics also appears, which checks because TGBW created him in his bio.

-Dread Horn is new. I believe the Ebon Fortress is as well.

-That could be Rattlor on the panel where TGBW is recruiting allies, or it could be Strettch-Nek/Anacondus. Can't tell.

-Sharella gets a mention but doesn't appear.

-TGBW has to travel to gather allies and find He-Ro...even though he was literally right there in front of him...

-Eldor gives Ro a choice...then doesn't really present him with one.

-The staff has a light side and a dark side, but we don't see the dark side.

-Who are the wizards with the staff in that one panel? They look like Horde Wraiths.

Decent comic. Not mind-blowing but alright. I'm always happy to see Classics characters get stuff to do and get fleshed out. More figures, please!

Do we know (or even suspect) if the Fright Zone will include a mini-comic?

@chrisa I'm not really a fan of GBW he's too much like Skeletor.

@andy_wan_kenobi highly unlikely no vehicle, creature or play set has included a mini comic. Unless you count Eternian and King Grayskull.

@smitty-81 and in the Vintage Line, Eternia (as well as Point Dread/Talon Fighter) was an outlier for having a mini-comic as well. But I wanted to make sure I hadn't missed anything.

Not everyone needs a tragic back story.

Not every thing needs an origin.

Quite possibly the worst thing I've read in the last 5 years.

All of these mini-comics could stand about 4 more pages at least.

We must have read two different comics because I thought it was really good.

This art style seems a little more mature in a way. I wish it could prevail. Is this the same artist who worked on Vultak's mini-comic?

I assume to alluded to Final Fright will be coming with the Fright Zone.

@andy_wan_kenobi why would you assume that? There's still two more waves this year, and mini comics only come with figures.
