On my calendar! I will be buying this.

Check out the bottom right corner of the front box art. Looks like the Parthenon-looking ruins from the Slime Pit box. And there is a tiny bit of green near it ……. 🤔

@centurion of evil - I’ve been looking at this detail too after watching in-depth videos on the tube showing close-up shots of the box, and thoughts, as well as eagle-eyed comments. The green spot/small area you are referring to, if you look at it closely on a higher res picture, it looks exactly like the tentacle monster from the Origins line 2021 Power-Con exclusive "Secrets of Grayskull" pack. We can see the distinctive eye and shape on that small area of green on the box art. The funny thing is, the actual figure was light brown in color, and on the box it is more of a slime green. I am not sure why they put this figure, which is associated with the ‘dwell of souls’ in Castle Grayskull, in the background surrounding the fright zone, but I believe this is indeed in connection to the slime pit, which is rumored to be already painted in the full-sized art for this box. The Parthenon ruins you mentioned are the best evidence we have to confirm this. The Slime Pit shall be ours! The Fright Zone was one my most anticipated origins releases, and personally my favorite of all MOTU playsets, for its whole theme of horror with all its classical symbolism and looks. I’m absolutely ecstatic at the box art on both sides of the box, with the best combination of background and colors. They nailed it.

@Collector Phil - Thanks for the further details.  I was wondering about that eye in the green spot!  Getting the Slime Pit after this would be amazing.

Admittedly, this is a welcome addition to Origins (even though I am one who has always wanted a cartoon accurate Fright Zone) but for $90 + bucks?! This thing is a fraction of the previous two playsets and should cost like $50- $60 (tops) - unless it’s like four times the size of the original - I’m not sure I get the ratio of cost to value here 😅🤯 To put this in perspective- one can get a Neca Playset (for 7”  Turtles or Beetlejuice) for twice this cost - exponentially larger, even though some cardboard is used - the pieces are actually painted and weathered - this Mattel offering is supposedly for adults but it looks like a cheap toy with almost everything molded in the colored plastic - hell you can get a Playmates Technodrome for $50 right now on Amazon - Like I’m not trying to gripe - I’d rather have it than not have it but am I the only one who thinks this is a crazy price point for not all that much of a product?

It's not just you, I know hardcore fans who've wanted the FZ for years who aren't happy about the price. Roided-out Moaty and some Horde bits simply doesn't cover it.
