So last week we reported that Mattel would be having a Panel Talk today featuring updates involving the New “Masters of the Universe” Movie at Spielwarenmesse, the international toy fair in Nuremberg, Germany. @mighty-thanos hope not...nothing can replace Masterverse, especially not this, and there's not a lot of characters in the new movie, so they will not do a whole roster...easy pass

Well…. These figures are certainly something. Tri-Klops has an interesting design for the movie at least.

So is Chronicles replacing Masterverse? Does anyone know?
At first blush, it would appear that Chronicles is Masterverse. But boots on the ground are reporting that they are slightly shorter. Perhaps Chronicles is just a Masterverse sub-line for the film figures.
@adam_prince-of-eternia This sounds like a glimmer of hope, at least technically. They certainly won't find a better term than "Masterverse" to encompass every possible subline.

Yeah, Pixel Dan mentioned he was told these are more a six inch scale, where as Masterverse is seven inch.
I wonder if Mattel is ditching the seven inch scale going forward.

That is why Mattel stated that reporting was inaccurate. These are clearly closer to seven inches than five.
