Personally, once I read the mini-comic for this x-over online, I was into it. It's just dumb fun. And if it's a short series like you mentioned on another thread, Smitty, that's even better. 

I already own every Classics figure MOC and loose, nearly all the Masterverse MOC and loose and a whole bunch of Origins, so I've barely got any space left for anything.

That said, I'm hoping for at least 6 figures though. 😆

My guess is well get the four MOTU characters from Mattel and two Transformers from Hasbro. Hopefully the Transformers will include a mini comic. 

So, He-Optimus and Scarescream. I'd say that's our Wave 2.

I also noticed how MOTU X TMNT gave Ninjor a lot of story, I guess this will do the same for Scareglow.

It looks like Subternia is now fully "MOTU Hell" unlike just being the underground world in 200X/MOTUC.

I'm not sure we'll get too much on Starscream Armor Scareglow, unless we get a comic mini series but I'm not sure how that works with two different comic book companies. 

I just want to see Hasbro's side of this include mini comics

If Hasbro is doing a couple of releases for this, I'll be interested to see if they're things like Wind Raider turning into a new Autobot kinda deal or something else. 

But yeah, here's hoping they come with mini comics too.

Honestly I don't think were going to get anymore MOTU characters in this capsule collection. Id like to see more, but I think after He-Man and Scareglow we'll get some figures from Hasbro. Actual Transformers this time possibly the same characters that the MOTU armor is based on but with Eternia alt modes. And hopefully at Origins scale and as vehicles we don't already have.

Has it been confirmed that Hasbro will make the transforming part of this collaboration, or is that speculation?

@smitty-81 I mean in a few Transformers continuities Megatron and Galvatron are actually separate characters who coexist. The major one being the long ran IDW comics continuity.

And even in universes where Galvatron is still a future upgrade version of Megs, mainly the OG Marvel comics run, the two run into each other via time travel or whatever and absolutely despise one another, with Galv resenting his past self and the two fight.

Whether separate guys or not, I feel like it gives off maybe semi-Skeletor and Hordak energy in their hatred for one another

I mean does Man-at-Arms fit to be cosplaying as Bumblebee? Not really. He's only doing so instead of Buzz-Off because he's a franchise A-list importance character. The only similarity is always being the main hero's right hand man (at arms), so I would argue Galvatron and Hordak have more similarities.

I'm well aware of Transformers lore. Its just a matter of fitting Hordak into the narrative. Galvatron of the distant past or time traveling Galvatron, that's easily made a part of the history of this version of Transformers, though they may plan on keeping it ambiguous so that this story can be a part of any iteration of the G1 community family.

It comes from a reliable source in the Transformers community. 

@smitty-81 Crossovers like this never have to be canon to anything if the creators don't want them to. Sometimes franchises just want to collide and not worry about continuity afterwards because it's fun.

Transformers G1 has a shit ton of separate company comic crossovers thanks to IDW and you never see them referenced in anything afterwards

Its been done both ways, but i prefer the Turtles of Grayskull and MOTU × Thundercats approach where its just a new continuity for both franchises.

I've ordered the comic mini-series for me to read that has yet to come, but has there been ANY substantial pure MOTU media after the comic mini-series ended, since the end of last year that indirectly non-namedropingly legally references that time Adam hung out with a bunch of turtles?

As for the latter, Thundercats, haven't read it but I guess that one checks out? At least the one under DC and not the new one because they'll just be mini-comics. The ToG mini comics just don't fit with the Origins mini comic, like at all. Especially with.

Continuity wise the Origins mini comics are a mess.

Yes and no. For the most part the vintage cartoon had little to no continuing story or character development. Teela had a trio of episodes that helped define her character then redefine it. The first few mini comics did seem to have an on going story.

With NA, 200X, Revelation/ Revolution and the CGI cartoon there was definitely an ongoing story.

As for the mini comics after those first few, no there was no continuity. The NA line only had four mini comics that tell one story. The Origins mini comics sometimes had continuations but less often than not, until the Snakemen, but that wasn't done well. Then of course the ToG, Thundercats and CC mini comics for this year.

@smitty-81 I wouldn't be against that idea. 

If they are gonna go that route though, they'll need to do Origins style Revelation/Revolution figures to keep it consistent. I mean they're doing 200X/Origins, so they may as well do Revelation/Revolution, I suppose. They need something to refresh the A-Listers again down the line.
