Every single one of the MOTUbi figures has sold out very fast. The molds are already done as well so I imagine its a good margin for them. I agree that now isn't the right time to be busting out variant figures, but we'll see how fast it takes to sell out. I didn't think the Filmation variant of Beast Man would sell out, but it did eventually.

I think Mondo needs to focus on X-Men, MOTU, TMNT and Thundercats for their figures and stop making products for super niche brands. Additionally, I think they need to scale back their soft vinyl colorways as well. Overall, I'd say Mondo isn't likely whats dragging Funko atm. Mondo is a very small chunk of Funko's overall brand. I doubt they even account for 15% of the company.

I think the weaning popularity of POPS! isn't helping.

@smitty-81 I’d say the Pops! waning are probably one of the reasons they bought Mondo in the first place. Much to my surprise, the Buzz-Off is labeled as “Almost Gone” on Mondo’s site this afternoon.

Their MOTU stuff is by far their most popular line of 1/6th figures. The TMNT line will be huge for them too I reckon. Luckily I’m not into TMNT because their Donatello looks stellar.
