Check it out, including its anniversary sticker in the top left corner, and a certain character tease in the artwork: The Masters of the Universe: Origins “Cartoon Collection” SHE-RA figure is expected to be available later this year at an Origins retailer near you. I don't understand? Why does it say the He-Man show? The logo should read She-Ra Princess of Power. 😠

The package looks amazing but I was surprised about that too. She-Ra never appeared in Filmation He-Man. It was the other way around. So it should say Spop.

I think it’s a great packaging– building on the original CC card back but adding the menacing Horde eyes– many have asked for a Horde themed year… Now we’re getting a She-Ra and Horde year.

I’m not at all surprised that it is still called He-Man & Masters of the Universe. It’s not just the show’s name, it is the current all-encompassing title of all MOTU CC Origins.

It looks a bit funny at first but it makes sense that they won’t change the name. We’ve seen in the past how Heroic Warriors had a snake card… it is what it is– all belongs together 🤷‍♂️

Maybe they were worried changing the name would hurt sales? Just a guess

I understand your heartache but remember if you plan on opening it won't matter.

She-ra looks fantastic! So glad they kept the gold metallic paint on her boots/gauntlets they showed at SDCC. We know all too well prototypes don't always translate to the final product. And yes, Seahawk! The Cartoon Collection continues to impress!

That's my thinking too. I don't mind but I can see it being an issue for other collectors, especially those looking forward to all that pink in the bubble card!

Let's face it. If you follow the history of the cartoons there were less She-Ra viewers than He-Man viewers. When Mattel keeps the She-Ra figures in the same series of toys it forces He-Man only fans to collect them all if they want to collect them all.

We need a better Filmation He-man sword now. Something that matches this She-ra’s sword. The swords should be identical in size.

And as more and more females get added, I get more bummed that Mattel didn’t alter their size.   They are way too small. Teela and Evil-lyn look so odd on the shelf mixed in with everyone else. The female buck should have been revised for CC.

TOG April O'Neil has a bigger buck so I hope they use that, for She-ra at least. She should be the same height as He-Man.

As nice as the packaging is....wow, does this figure scream "minimal effort only".

The face is generic, her skirt once again gets in the way of articulation because it isn't fabric (Mattel has learned nothing), the boot cuffs are huge, the tiara looks weird on the sides....

Disappointed. Hopefully the other figures in the POP collection look better.
