@elder I will probably cherry pick some of the core figures and will just buy loosies. I was out of collecting during the reign of Classics and sadly missed out. Way too expensive to dive all in at this point
@emeraldknightphotos If you did start collecting Classics today mate it would fascinating to run a tally on how much it would cost to obtain them all.
Would anyone want to wager a guess on what it would cost today to purchase the entire collection?

Just got my first classics figures. Was only 40 bucks so I said why not, build up that army.

I haven't seen a lot of people mention this, but the Hover Robot that comes with the Origins Crimson Horde Trooper looks a LOT like a Classics mold repainted.
If this is the case, I'm gonna need a couple for my Classics collection to be complete! 😛

I don't think they'd have to resize it, those bots were about the right size for Origins. I'd bet money it's just the Classics bot.

@abaddon I was surprised to see that too - it looks identical to the Classics version. Would they keep a mould sitting around for that long?
That's a really good question. It's been a while, but they kept molds around for Masters of the WWE accessories, reusing a ton of stuff from Classics.
The Tri-Klops vest was reused for the Undertaker and that thing has been around since 2009. Also, while on the subject of Tri-Klops, the glow in the dark ring was reused for the mini-comics Tri-Klops released in Origins.
So fingers crossed!

Is there legal mumbo jumbo involved to reproduce the classics version exactly? I think they will size it down to scale with the 5.5 figures and so you can tell them apart.
I feel like there was some speculation that the origins Keldor head was the same as the classics head, but I don't remember the specifics but he's not a filmation design, so that could be where things are funky.
