There are going to be some great articles about the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” Movie in the April 2026 Edition of EMPIRE Magazine.

Although not available yet to read, we do have an interview tease from both Director Travis Knight and Nicholas Galitzine. Check it out:
Travis Knight on the “inherent silliness” of MOTU:
"There’s an inherent silliness to it, which we are acknowledging and embracing. I think it’s a virtue, actually. And it’s woven into the script to help some of these things make sense to a modern audience. Like, why would that character have that stupid name? Well, over the course of the movie we show you why.”
Travis Knight on casting Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man:
“I wasn’t looking for a body. I was looking for a soul. I needed someone who had the spirit of this character, and could be funny and charming and heartbreaking and also plausibly a big action hero. Because there’s a duality there: Adam essentially represents empathy, He-Man represents strength.”
Nicholas Galitzine on transforming his body for the role of He-Man:
"I think anyone seeing that iconic physique would find it extremely daunting. Even the animations put Arnold Schwarzenegger to shame: the proportions, the minuscule waist, the boulder shoulders… I had four or five months to get in shape. Truly, it was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done.”
Nicholas Galitzine on wearing the He-Man costume:
"You just become kind of abnormally confident in it. It’s like when you do sex scenes. Everyone else in the room is more uncomfortable than you are, you know? Wandering around in this costume was empowering."
EMPIRE Magazine also released two exclusive official publicity stills for the “MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE” Movie featuring actors Nicholas Galitzine and Alison Brie.

Empire Magazine’s “Masters Of The Universe” issue will hit newsstands on Thursday February 12th.
We’ll see you next time!

I trusted and he is delivering.
TRUST IN TRAVIS KNIGHT!
Creepy Knight and The Dick Riders of the Universe!
There are still people complaining that he’s not big enough. I thought people were over that.
It’s not something that usually bothers me about interpretations or even something I usually notice, but it was really apparent in the trailer. Especially since in the freezeframes Skeletor is way more jacked up than He-Man.
I can’t wait until this releases
I never thought I would see a movie like this in my lifetime.
