It was a sore point for many fans that the magical little Trollan was not able to appear in the 1987 “Masters of the Universe” Movie (for a multitude of reasons). Instead, fans got Gwildor.

  1. I’m at least happy we have confirmation that he is in the movie at least. Even if it won’t be that long, there’s already a lot of characters they’ll have in the movie just to look cool being there. Maybe their hoping should there be sequels, he’ll play a bigger part in them.

Anyone else hoping they’ve cast John Mulaney to voice him? Feel like he would be good.

On that note, leading up to the trailer’s drop I bet many of us thought Cringer wasn’t gonna talk like 200x but Adam mentions talking tigers so who do y’all think will voice him?

    1. This is great! I heard Orko didn’t appear in the first test screenings. This means he must have been added afterwards.

Not entirely true. The FX work was rough and unfinished. The FX in this latest screening were near if not 100% complete.
ILM also over the weekend announced they were one of the effects houses working on the film!

  2. Hmmm, sounds like a brief cameo (possibly post credits like others have suggested, to set up a potential sequel). Not sure that’s the best strategy since he is a key character who is very marketable to kids, so if his appearance is brief, that could be short sighted on Mattel’s part. Just look at how Grogu’s popularity exploded in the Mandalorian – Orko could be the 2026 version of that if handled correctly…

As I understand it the test screenings have no end credits so it’s not possible for any mid or end credits stinger. If Orko is showing up then it’ll be in the actual film.
