SPOILER WARNING!
A lot of fans have been wondering what role actor Dolph Lundgren would be portraying in the new “Masters of the Universe” Movie.
While his participation has not been announced in any sort of official capacity, the Swedish born actor’s return to the franchise that made him famous (other than “Rocky IV”) has been the worst kept secret in Hollywood thanks to Dolph himself… who has repeatedly teased his involvement in the new reboot film over the course of the past year

However, while we are certain Dolph Lundgren will be in the New “Masters of the Universe” film thanks to Dolph, the actor has yet to provide insight regarding the nature of his role that he will be returning in.
This past February fans got excited when they saw this statue displayed at Toy Fair 2026 of a King holding a sword that matches the blade used by Dolph in the 1987 film. They hoped it was a confirmation that the once He-Man actor would return as another popular character in lore, King Grayskull.

However, we were tipped off that Dolph Lundgren’s role will be much different than that. Here is what we learned:
SPOILER WARNING:

Dolph Lundgren's role takes place on Earth, not on Eternia, at a fitness gym, the same gym that Adam works out in. In front of a studio mirror, Dolph gives Adam some life advice and at the end of their conversation, Dolph parts ways with a "Good Journey".
While perhaps this is not the cameo everyone was hoping for, we love the callback to the 1987 film… and who knows, maybe in sequels we’ll learn that this character Dolph plays is somehow King Grayskull hiding out on Earth himself.
We want to thank the awesome ToyBinging who pointed us in the direction on where to find this scoop, and be sure to check out his awesome YouTube Channel where he talks “Masters of the Universe” and other geeky topics!

We’ll see you next time!

Booooo!
Hehehe that’s funny.
I wanted King Grayskull but hearing this I’m completely on board – both He-Mans together with the older imparting wisdom to the younger.
I am so unbelievably excited to see this.
This sounds better than King Grayskull
At least he’s in it.
